Arrival
Students may enter the school at 7:50 a.m.
All students should be in the building no later than 8:05 a.m. to allow them time to be in their classrooms by the time the tardy bell rings at 8:10 a.m.
*Children riding the bus will enter through the designated doors located in the front of the building.
When dropping off your child, circle around the back of the building. Car riders will enter the building through the cafeteria doors, located in the front of the school. Our staff will be on duty until 8:05 a.m. to greet students as they exit your vehicle.
Once our LEAPs program begins, students who have registered and been accepted will enter the building through the gym doors in front of the building. Doors will be open at 6:50 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 a.m. Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. will need to join the car line and enter the building at the cafeteria doors at 7:50 a.m.
Dismissal
Students are dismissed from school at 3:10 p.m.
If it is necessary for you to pick up your child before the end of the school day, you must do so prior to 2:45 p.m. This assists us in our efforts to keep traffic flowing smoothly. Please pull into the parking lot and call the school at 423.652.9445. We will call for your child, and escort him / her to your vehicle so you may sign him / her out for the day.
If it is necessary for you to change your child's transportation plans, you must call the office by 2:00 p.m. to ensure that we have time to get a message to your child.
During dismissal, please enter the car line from the southbound lane of Volunteer Parkway--making a right turn onto our property as pictured below.
